Mikail Jabbarov: Growth in oil & gas sector has accelerated

September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 5.8% for Jan-Aug 2022 (versus Jan-Aug 2021) and exceeded AZN 84.8 bn, ABC.AZ reports, referring Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov’s tweet.

At that, GDP growth in the nonoil and nongas sector made up 10.3% - over AZN 43.3 bn.

 “Growth in the non-oil and non-gas sector accelerated compared with the previous year. In 2021, GDP in this sector grew by only 5.7% against Jan-Aug 2020,” Jabbarov’s tweet says.
