September 23, Fineko/abc.az. MP Vugar Bayramov has commented on the issue of raising wages and pensions in 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the MP, one of the matters under consideration at the Cabinet meeting on 22 September, dedicated to the discussion of the Draft State Budget 2023, was the expansion of measures to strengthen social protection and social security of the population, families of martyrs, veterans, improving the social welfare of the low-income population, in accordance with president’s instructions.

"Taking into account inflationary pressure, socially oriented expenditures of State Budget 2023 for social support measures for vulnerable groups of the population are provided for 9.2% more than this year. As for specific figures, in State Budget 2023, direct spending on social protection and social security will increase from AZN 3.728 bn to AZN 4.41 bn,” he said.
