Non-cash card payments in Azerbaijan reach AZN 2.235 bn for August

September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The non-cash payments through cards in August 2022 amounted to AZN 2.235 bn.

ABC.AZ reports that AZN 1.708 bn of non-cash payments accounts for e-commerce.

Transactions in the amount of AZN 524 million were carried out through POS- terminals.

In August, the non-cash transactions with payment cards in the country made up 45% of all card transactions in the country.

There is dynamic growth in the network of payment services of banks.

Compared to the end of last August, the number of ATMs increased by 4.1% and POS terminals by 23%.
