Ceremony of laying the foundation of Khidirli village took place in Aghdam


October 5, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Agdam district of Azerbaijan on 4 October.

ABC.AZ reports that they attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Khidirlli village, Aghdam.

Azerbaijani President’s Special Representative in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov informed the president and the first lady of the work to be done in the village.

It is planned to settle 5990 people (1,500 families) in Khidirli village, which is 3 km far from the center of Aghdam city. The total projected area is 418 hectares.

Taking into account the household load of the population who will live here, at the first stage of the construction of blocks, a land plot of 160 hectares has been allotted. At the first stage, 2,951 people will be resettled in the village, for whom it is planned to build 719 individual houses.
