A foundation stone laid for Kangarli and Sarijali villages

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Agdam district of Azerbaijan on 4 October.

ABC.AZ reports that the president and the first lady attended the ceremony of laying the foundation of the Kangarli and Sarijali villages of Agdam district of Azerbaiajn.

The head of state was informed about the upcoming work in the villages.

2,626 people (639 families) are planned to be settled in Kangarli village, which is 6 km far from Aghdam city. The total projected area is 177.2 hectares.

Taking into account the number of the population living here, at the first stage of the construction of residential quarters, it is planned to allot a land plot of 66.2 hectares. At the first stage, 1,279 people will be resettled, for whom it is planned to build 290 individual houses.

It was stressed that all conditions will be created in Kengerli village to ensure employment of the population. A total of 1,182 people will be provided with work in cultural and entertainment centers, a number of institutions for various purposes, objects of economic development, education, management and agriculture.

Sarijali village is planned for 1.720 people (425 families). The total projected area is 101.9 hectares.

Taking into account the population to live here, at the first stage of the construction of residential quarters, a land plot of 50.3 hectares has been allotted.

At the initial stage, 211 individual houses are planned to be built in Sarijali village for the resettlement of 895 people. In Sarijali, located 6 km from the center of Aghdam city, all conditions will be created to ensure employment of the population. In general, 774 people will be provided with work in cultural and entertainment centers, a number of institutions for various purposes, objects of economic development, education, management and agriculture.
