Pensions of retired persons who worked for at least 6 years after old-age pension appointment recalculated

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of this year the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection has recalculated and increased the pensions of 3,344 pensioners who have worked for at least 6 years after the appointment of an old-age pension.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Ministry, additional AZN 4.7 million a year have been allocated to increase the pensions of these citizens.

Under the Law on Labor Pensions, if a citizen continues to work after the appointment of old-age pension, every 6 years the pension capital accumulated in his account is divided into 72 (6 years × 12 months) and added to his pension.
