President signs an order on new appointment for Karabakh Economic Region

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. The Deputy Special Representative of the President in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region has been appointed.

ABC.AZ reports that Bashir Hajiyev has been appointed Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories (except for Shusha region) included in the Karabakh Economic Region.

In this regard, on 15 October, President Ilham Aliyev signed a relevant decree. Prior to this appointment, Bashir Hajiyev worked in the special representative office as chief adviser.

In 2021 he began working in the special representative office of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated part of Aghdam region, and since the beginning of this year he has been the chief adviser to the special representative office of the President in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region.
