October 21, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Azerbaijan on 20 October.

ABC.AZ reports that during the visit the Turkish leader visited the airport and a number of openings in Zangilan. Then, in Jabrayil, together with President Ilham Aliyev, he made a statement to the press.

Erdogan said: “I think that in a year from now, we’ll see the road to Jabrayil in a completely different state, because serious steps are also being taken related to infrastructure issues. Steps have been taken here thanks to the joint work of Turkish companies.”

President Erdogan emphasized that Turkiye is ready to be alongside Azerbaijan within the framework of the Karabakh development plan in all projects, including agriculture, green energy and smart cities.

“We’ve already taken steps based on solidarity. We are ready to implement more important and gigantic projects together by developing these projects. Naturally, other important steps include the “Azerbaijani-Turkish International Forestry Training Center”, the “Smart Nursery” and the “Forest of Friendship” complex, the foundation of which we have laid in Jabrayil. It is also a symbol of our solidarity,” Erdogan said.
