Rishi Sunak to become UK’s PM


October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Former British Finance Minister Rishi Sunak has been officially announced as the new leader of the country's Conservative Party and may be appointed prime minister tomorrow.

ABC.AZ reports that the head of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt withdrew her candidacy for the election of prime minister, thus her rival Rishi Sunak automatically becomes the new head of the Conservative Party and, accordingly, the Prime Minister of Great Britain.

Rishi Senak was born in Southampton to a family of a doctor and a pharmacist on May 12, 1980. He graduated from Oxford University, where he studied philosophy, politics and economics, and later received a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.
