Number of concluded labor contracts reaches 1.67 million

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 October  2022, the number of concluded labor contracts in Azerbaijan reached 1.673 million contracts.

The State Tax Service (under the Economy Ministry) reports that compared early 2019, the indicator grew by 271,251 contracts or by 19.4%.

In the private nonoil sector, this indicator increased by 268,445 up to 808,400 contracts.

"The stimulating tax policy pursued for more than 3 years has led to significant changes in the labor market. The registration of jobs, the "whitewashing" of the wage fund and ensuring transparency are the result of the measures taken," the Service stated.
