October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Construction works were launched in the territories liberated from occupation in compliance with presidential orders within the concept of "smart" city and a "smart" village.

ABC.AZ reports that Ecology & Natural Resources Minister Mukhtar Babayev made the above-said statement at the opening ceremony of project "Growth of services in the field of hydrometeorology & climate in Azerbaijan".

Speaking about the infrastructure created in the liberated territories, the minister emphasized:

"New infrastructure facilities have been put into operation, airports of international importance are being built. When fulfilling all these works and correct planning, hydrometeorological services are carried out, an observation network with modern automated hydrological and meteorological automatic stations is being restored. And here, in accord with our plans for the future, more large-scale projects are to be implemented in the coming years."
