Banks to render investment services in Azerbaijan

November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Banks can render investment services in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, citing Samir Ismailov, deputy director of the CBA Capital Market Activity Policy & Control Department.

He noted that in order to improve financial mediation, banks are expected to participate in the capital market: "And banks will now be able to render services in the capital market. And this will further expand the participation in the capital market of both issuers and investors in the regions. Active work is underway in this direction."

Ismailov added that coverage of investment services rendered by banks will be approved by CBA Board’s decision.
