November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The III Financial & Investment Forum has been held in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that at the forum, Sanan Shabanov, the chief investment administrator of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), spoke about the investment portfolio represented by ADB.

Shabanov said that today the amount of loans given to Azerbaijan and repaid loans has reached $4 bn.

"The ADB is better known as a bank working with the public sector. But we also have certain projects with the private sector. Our strategy for 2030 provides for implementation of 7 goals. One of them is to increase the share of the private sector in our investment and loan portfolio to 1/3. We also, together with the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA), took part in the development of the Draft Law on Public-Private Partnership, which has already passed the 1st reading at Milli Majlis," Shabanov said.
