ABC.AZ reports that such a proposal was made by MP Zahid Oruj at a meeting of the parliament.

He noted that the draft budget for next year strengthens our victory in the Patriotic War.

"More than 400 km from Murov to Araz, including 132 km on the border with Iran, make it possible to build a powerful military defense system, including strengthening the army against military provocations next year. We propose to increase payments to officers and soldiers who occupy military positions on our recently conquered and not yet demarcated borders to 50%, not 20%, as it is now. It does not need 100 million, but the result is important for our security," the MP emphasized.
