November 21, Fineko/abc.az. In the world in the next 5 years, the additional economic value created by the "smart village" and "smart city" models will amount to $2.5 trillion.

ABC.AZ reports that Digital Development & Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev stated about this at international conference on the theme "Innovative approach to the development of cities & villages: smart cities & villages".

"Companies, operators, integrators working in the world on the smart village and smart city projects put forward various proposals to the Azerbaijani government, claiming that their solution is one of the best. Unfortunately, many technical solutions did not take into account the model of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, many aspects of infrastructure and social life existing in Azerbaijan," the minister said.
