Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $87.83 a barrel

November 22, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Tuesday’s trading after a weak decline the day before.

The cost of January Brent futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange by 9:40 am is $87.83 per barrel, which is $0.38 (0.43%) higher than the closing price of the previous session. Following the trading on Monday, these contracts fell by $ 0.17 (0.19%), to $87.45 per barrel.

By 9:40 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.28 (0.35%), to $80.32 per barrel. By the close of previous trading, the value of these contracts decreased by $0.07 (0.09%) to $80.04 per barrel.
