Oil keeps on getting cheaper, and Brent is at $85.20 a barrel

November 24, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades continue falling in Thursday’s trading after a drop at the end of the previous session.

The cost of January Brent futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange decreased by 8:30 am by 0.21 (0.25%) and is $85.20 per barrel. Following the trading on 23 November, these contracts fell by $2.95 (3.34%), to $85.41 per barrel.

By 8:30 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for January on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.13 (0.17%), to $77.81 per barrel. Following the trading on 23 November, the value of these contracts collapsed by $3.01 (3.72%), to $77.94 per barrel.
