Egyptian President to visit Azerbaijan

November 28, Fineko/abc.az. His Excellency Mr. Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, is expected to visit Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Azerbaijan Hisham Mohamed Nagy Abdel Hamid said about this in an interview.

The diplomat noted that the invitation to make a visit remains in force:

"The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, invited the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi, to visit Azerbaijan, but due to the pandemic, this visit did not take place and then this invitation was updated. Currently, preparations for the visit are underway, work is underway, but there is no exact information about what day the visit will take place. But the visit is expected," he emphasized.
