November 29, Fineko/abc.az. The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, has declared “war" on American technology giant Apple.

ABC.AZ reports that Elon Musk said on Monday that Apple has almost stopped advertising on the Twitter social network owned by him.

"Apple basically stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate freedom of speech in America?" Elon Musk wrote on his Twitter page.

The entrepreneur previously stated that Apple threatened to remove the application of the social network belonging to him from AppStore.

Musk also organized a survey on his page in order to find out the opinion of users about whether Apple should make public all cases of censorship against its users.

He accused Apple of receiving commissions for sales made in the app store.

In a series of tweets, Musk accused Apple of suppressing freedom of speech by demanding that apps in his store meet certain content standards. Musk tagged Apple CEO Tim Cook's Twitter account, writing: "What's going on here?"

On 27 November, the Financial Times, referring to employees of leading advertising agencies, reported that almost all large global brands temporarily refused to advertise on Twitter due to Musk's chaotic approach to managing the company he bought, which owns the social network.
