Natural gas in Russia has risen in price

December 1, Fineko/abc.az. The social situation in Russia is getting worse every day, and prices are steadily rising.

ABC.AZ reports that natural gas has also grown in price in the country.

Thus, gas tariffs in Russia have increased by 8.5% since 1 December 2022 and electricity for the population by 9%.

The current indexation will be the 2nd for the year, in July 2022 the utility tariffs in the Russian Federation were indexed by an average of 4%.

The government explains the increase in tariffs by the need to update the municipal infrastructure and the lag of previous indexations from inflation.

Under the decision, gas prices for industry also increased by 8.5%.
