December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past few months the real estate market has seen a sharp increase in house prices.

ABC.AZ reports that if earlier two-room apartments in old buildings were offered for AZN 75,000-80,000, now it is difficult to find housing even for AZN 100,000.

Real estate expert Ramil Osmanli said in a broadcast of TV channel Khazar that the price growth is observed not only in new buildings. There is also an increase in prices for apartments in 5- and 9-storey buildings of old construction, he added. The expert believes that recent events in the world have led to an increase in demand for housing in the Azerbaijani market, which led to an increase in prices.

The expert said that the citizens of this country, buying and renting housing in Azerbaijan, insure their available funds.
According to Osmanli, apartment prices are not expected to decrease in the coming months.
Realtor Hashim Gadirov underlined that the price increase in old buildings has never reached such a limit.
