December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Today, President Ilham Aliyev has received Russian presidential aide Igor Levitin.

ABC.AZ reports that Levitin conveyed the greeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the head of state.

President Aliyev thanked for the greeting and also asked to convey his greetings to his Russian counterpart.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with development of Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral ties, including economic ones, and importance of joint work in transport and infrastructure sphere was noted.

The issues relating to transport, transit, logistics at the bilateral and regional levels were discussed, including expanding the capabilities of the North-South transport corridor and the Zangezur corridor.
