Alexander Novak: World oil market is in a better state

15:57 - 5.12.2022

December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that currently the global oil market is in better condition than two months ago, but there is still a lot of uncertainty about the coronavirus in China.

ABC.AZ reports that Novak said this in an interview for TV channel Rossiya-24.

"We stressed that the market is in a better state than two months ago, although there are many uncertainties. Uncertainty – high inflation in many countries, high public debt, which causes tightening of monetary policy in many countries. An important point, of course, is the recurring epidemics of coronavirus in the People's Republic of China, which is the largest buyer of energy resources," he said.
