New banknotes from Central Bank put into circulation 


December 8, Fineko/ This year marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of the National Olympic Committee. 

ABC.AZ reports that in order to perpetuate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the National Olympic Committee, the Central Bank issued a silver jubilee banknote with nominal value of 5 manats. The release limit is determined on the basis of the order of the National Olympic Committee in 200 banknotes. The sale of these banknotes to the National Olympic Committee was ensured. The weight of the jubilee banknote is 1 troy ounce - 31.1 g, and the diameter is 38.61 mm. The sign is made using the Pruf technology in accordance with international standards in German company Bavarian Mint. The jubilee banknote is an official means of payment on the territory of the country at face value.
