December 9, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with special-purpose equipment purchased by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to be used in the liberated territories, as well as with modern ambulances purchased by the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that Minister of Emergency Situations, Col-Gen Kemaleddin Heydarov, presented a report to the head of state.

President Aliyev was informed that the Ministry purchased 100 KAMAZ fire trucks and 50 Iveco special purpose fire trucks for fire protection in the territories liberated from occupation. Of the Iveco brand cars, 9 have already been imported, and 41 are scheduled for import in the first quarter of 2023.
KAMAZ and Iveco motor vehicles, in particular, will be used to transport personnel, fire-technical and rescue equipment, water and foaming agents to the fire site, uninterrupted provision of fire extinguishing agents to the fire site, evacuation of people and removal of objects from multi-storey buildings, lifting rescuers and firefighters to upper floors, extinguishing fires at height by means of a carriage trunk, lighting the fire site, as well as for performing other auxiliary work.
