Investments in Azerbaijan's economy grew by 6%

January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Investments in fixed capital in Azerbaijan totaled AZN 18.27 bn (over $10.75 bn) in 2022 (a rise of 5.5% versus 2021).

ABC.AZ reports that investments in the oil & gas sector decreased by 9.8% and in the nonoil-gas sector increased by 13.6%.

AZN 10.6 bn ($6.24 bn) or 58.1% of investments were made in production, AZN 6.735 bn ($3.96 bn) or 36.9% in services, AZN 925.4 million ($544.35 million) or 5% in housing construction.

Domestic investments totaled AZN 14.718 bn ($8.7 bn) (80.6%) of financing directed for fixed capital and construction & installation work AZN 13.46 bn ($7.92 bn) (73.7%).
