Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $86.60 a barrel

January 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Wednesday’s trading.

The price of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.68 (0.79%) up to $86.60 per barrel by 09:05 am. Following the trading on 17 January, Brent crude futures for March grew by $1.46 (1.73%) up to $85.92 per barrel.

By 09:05 am, the price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.71 (0.88%) up to $81.16 per barrel. Following the trading on 17 January, the price of March WTI oil futures increased by $1.12 (1.41%) up to $80.45 per barrel.
