Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $87.34 a barrel

January 23, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading after last week’s growth.

The cost of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange by 09:20 am decreased by $0.29 (0.33%) up to $87.34 per barrel. Following the trading on 20 January, Brent crude futures for March rose by $1.47 (1.71%) up to $87.63 per barrel.

By 09:20 am, the price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.24 (0.29%), to $81.40 per barrel. Following the results of trading on 20 January, the price of March WTI oil futures grew by $1.03 (1.28%) up to $81.64 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent crude oil rose by 2.76% and WTI by 1.91%.
