Banks' loan portfolio grew more than by 17% last year

January 27, Fineko/abc.az. There were no significant changes in the dynamics of banks' loan portfolio in December.

The share of business loans in the total loan portfolio of banks made up 55.4% (AZN 10.855 bn), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

In general, in 2022, banks’ loan portfolio grew by 17.6%, or by AZN 2.935 bn.

The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio (including NBCOs and credit associations) as of the beginning of the year decreased by 1.3 p.p. to 2.9%.
