January 27, Fineko/abc.az. The deposit portfolio of banks (excluding individuals engaged in entrepreneurship) grew by 1.3% (AZN 143.1 million) up to AZN 11.48 million.
ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that 54% (AZN 6.2 bn) of banks’ savings portfolio last year were term deposits.
Legal entities’ demand deposits amounted to AZN 19.7 bn (a rise of 3.4% or AZN 650.8 million over the month), 88.4% of the total deposit portfolio of legal entities (AZN 22.279 bn).
Owners of motor vehicles registered in foreign countries, or persons driving these vehicles passing through the territory of Azerbaijan, will be considered road tax payers and vehicles belonging to these persons as the object of road tax.
