January 30, Fineko/abc.az. The EBRD invested 86 million euro in 9 projects in Azerbaijan in 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the EBRD.

Most of these investments came from the private sector, 7% from the country's green economy and various sectors, from renewable energy sources and sustainable infrastructure to telecommunications, media and technologies.

During 2022, the EBRD made significant contribution to achieving the goal of diversifying Azerbaijan's energy resources. As for investments, the bank financed the construction of the country's first private, large-scale solar power plant designed to produce 558 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of green electricity.
