Azerbaijan Central Bank has cut accounting rate third time this year

June 14, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has reduced the accounting rate for the third time in 2018.

CBA chairman of board Elman Rustamov has stated that the accounting rate was lowered from 11% to 10%, while the upper and lower levels of the interest corridor will be +/-2%.

The CBA decreased reduced the accounting rate from 15% to 13% on February 12, 2018. On April 9, the rate was cut for the second time from 13% to 11%.
