Taxation of interests on deposits not to have significant impact on financial markets

February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank believes that taxation of interests on deposits will not have significant impact on financial stability and the volume of deposits, ABC.AZ quotes CBA’s general director Togrul Aliyev.

He emphasized that taxation of savings interests is envisaged by the Tax Code.

"This is a legal requirement. At the moment, taxation of savings income will not have significant impact on financial markets," Aliyev noted.
