BP’s net loss was $2.5 bn in 2022

February 7, Fineko/abc.az. BP Plc shareholders’ net loss in 2022 amounted to $2.487 bn. The company ended 2021 with net profit of $7.565 million.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to company's financial report that the loss per share was $0.13 in 2022 compared with profit of $0.37 in 2021.

Last year, company's revenue grew 1.5-fold up to $248.89 bn.

Company's net profit in the 4th quarter increased 4.6 times up to $10.8 bn. Revenue grew by 35% up to $70.356 bn.

BP's production volume in 2022 totaled 2.25 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (1.6% more than the same indicator of the previous year).
