February 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is collecting aid for victims of a strong earthquake in Turkiye.
ABC.AZ reports that citizens are sending warm clothes, tents, bedding, heating equipment and everything necessary for young children to the earthquake area.
The Consulate General of Turkiye in Nakhchivan appealed to the NAR residents to help people affected by the quake.
On 6 February, a quake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Turkiye. As a result, 3,432 people were killed and 21,103 were injured. 5,775 buildings were destroyed.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared a 7-day mourning period in the country in memory of the victims.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree according to which the import of automobiles into the territory of Azerbaijan, whose operation exceeds 10 years will be restricted.

Owners of motor vehicles registered in foreign countries, or persons driving these vehicles passing through the territory of Azerbaijan, will be considered road tax payers and vehicles belonging to these persons as the object of road tax.
