February 8, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on expansion of State Tourism Agency’s activity.
ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the decree, eight regional branches of the Agency have been created.
Until now, work in this area has been carried out through tourist information centers. The regional centers established in accord with the decree are Baku-Absheron Regional Tourism Department; Ganja Regional Tourism Department; Sheki Regional Tourism Department; Lankaran Regional Tourism Department; Mingachevir Regional Tourism Department; Guba Regional Tourism Department; Karabakh Regional Tourism Department; Ismailli Regional Tourism Department.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decree according to which the import of automobiles into the territory of Azerbaijan, whose operation exceeds 10 years will be restricted.

Owners of motor vehicles registered in foreign countries, or persons driving these vehicles passing through the territory of Azerbaijan, will be considered road tax payers and vehicles belonging to these persons as the object of road tax.
