Azerbaijan may open Consulate General in Erbil

February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan plans to open a consulate general in Erbil (northern Iraq).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the regional authorities in Erbil, that this issue was raised at a meeting in Munich between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the head of the regional government of Iraqi Kurdistan Nechirvan Barzani.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with Barzani on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on 18 February.
