«Asan İmza» and Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan will be presented at the 4th Eastern Partnership Business Forum

The 4th Eastern Partnership Business Forum ‘“Digital Economy: Innovative Platform for Transparent Borderless Business” will take place on 26-27 October 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia. The Forum will be held under the patronage of Kersti Kaljulaid, the President of the Republic of Estonia. The Forum will be participated by Mr. Johannes Hahn, the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations and other top-level speakers.

Traditional Business Forum held at the same time as EU Summit, is arranged by the Estonia’s Eastern Partnership and Enterprise Estonia within the Estonian Presidency of the EU Council. The main objective of the forum is to promote cross-border economic relations, transparency, new business opportunities and cooperation between EU and Eastern Partnership countries. The Forum’s focus is issued of digital Society and innovations. The EaP and EU countries will share their поделятся their experience in e-Governance and digital economy; cross-border trade, logistics and e-commerce; facilitating international business and innovations; innovative technologies and horizontal digitalization.

One of the Forum’s presenter is Mrs. Jana Krimpe, the founder of B.EST Solutions company the head of the Azerbaijan Mobile ID Consortium. She will inform the audience with such Azerbaijan innovations as «Asan İmza» Mobile ID as well as outputs of the Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan.

It should be mentioned that «Asan İmza» Mobile-ID provides the ubiquitous and secure access to the Public and private electronic services and is equal to handwritten signature on the legislative level.

«Asan İmza» enables identifying person, sign electronic document which is an equivalent to a handwritten signature according to the law on electronic signature of the Republic of Azerbaijan, that makes it the perfect tool in development of e-services. It is used for submitting the electronic customs declarations, declaration of goods and vehicles in customs service, registration of labour agreement notifications, on-line application to the educational institutions «Asan İmza» is also a new revolutionary cross-border project.

Mrs. Jana Krimpe will also share innovative Azerbaijan achievements, including «Asan İmza» integration with Azexport.az developed by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan Republic based on the principle of partnership between the Public and private sectors and branded as «Made in Azerbaijan». Today the portal supports the export of goods made in Azerbaijan and works with global trade platforms such as Alibaba.com, eBay.com, Wholesale, All.biz. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, additional measures are being taken for widening the international trade and enhancing the Azexport.az portal as a Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan. According to this Decree «Asan İmza» will be issued to the foreign citizens in all diplomatic representative offices throughout the world.

The 4th Eastern Partnership Business Forum will be followed by the annual Eastern Partnership summit, to be held on November 24 in Brussels. Personal participation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the Summit has been officially confirmed.

The Eastern Partnership (EaP) was inaugurated by the European Union in 2009 to govern integration relationship with the post-Soviet states of Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Belarus. The program stipulates liberalising the visa regime with EU, free trade area encompassing, supporting legislation adaptation and institution-building of partner countries, collaborating within energy security.
