Positive balance from foreign trade operations of Azerbaijan increased by 2.15 times

June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations for $11.226 bn with 160 countries.

The State Customs Committee reports that growth of trade operations for this year increased by 54.5%.

"$7.37 bn of trading operations accounted for export and $3.855 bn for import. Thus, versus the same term of 2017, this year’s export grew by 65.6% and import by 36.85%. As a result, positive balance of $3.515 bn or by 2.15 times more than a year ago has been formed," the Committee informed.
