President’s rep: Currently, 10 highway projects underway in Karabakh

April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, 10 highway projects with total length of 513 km are being implemented on the territory of the Karabakh Economic Region.

ABC.AZ reports that Emin Huseynov, President’s Special Representative in the occupation-liberated territories that are part of the Karabakh Economic Region (with the exception of the Shusha region), stated about this during his speech at a scientific & practical conference in Shemakha on the theme "Investment attractiveness of the liberated territories".

According to Huseynov, two railway projects with length of 157.5 km - Barda-Aghdam and Goradiz-Agbend are also being implemented in this region: "Airports in Zangilan and Fuzuli were also built. It is truly a miracle that in 8 months the heavily polluted territories were cleared and an airport was built that meets international standards."

Huseynov noted that two hydroelectric power plants have been fully restored and are functioning in Sugovushan: "Seven substations with capacity of 35 kV and 110 kW have been built in the Karabakh Economic Region."
