95% of ex-IDPs from Shusha city return to their homes

April 17, Fineko/abc.az. 95% of the former internally displaced persons from the city of Shusha will return to their homes after its restoration. They said they were ready to return and expressed their position on this issue.

ABC.AZ reports that Rovshan Rzayev, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees & IDPs of Azerbaijan, stated about this during scientific & practical conference "Investment attractiveness of territories liberated from occupation" held in Shemakha.

He added that development of occupation-liberated lands and the safety of people are among the most important issues.

"Now the biggest problem is mines. We believe we’ll be able to cope with this quickly," he emphasized.

Rzayev noted that all necessary measures are being taken to return the former IDPs to their native lands.
