May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2023, Azerbaijan produced 187,300 tons of meat in live weight, including poultry, 697,600 tons of milk, 726.5 million eggs and 2,100 tons of wool, 128,300 tons of vegetables and 50,300 tons of potatoes.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Apr 2022, production of meat grew by 3.1%, milk by 1.8%, eggs by 13%, vegetables by 0.6%, potatoes by 9.5%, while wool production decreased by 4.3%.

The gross agricultural output increased by 3.5%, including livestock production by 3.5% and crop production by 3.2% against Jan-Apr 2022.
