May 25, Fineko/abc.az. A number of changes will be carried out in the apparatus and subordinate institutions of the State Customs Committee.

ABC.AZ reports that by order of SCC chairman, Lt-Gen Shahin Bagirov, a draft of a new structure was developed.

According to the draft, a number of duplicate departments and offices will be eliminated in the committee's administration, some of them will be merged or replaced with new ones.

This decision will also apply to subordinate institutions.

The changes will mainly take place in the Baku Main Customs Administration, the Main Customs Administration for Air Transport, the Main Customs Administration for Excisable Goods, at customs posts and terminals.

The decision is expected to be approved by the middle of next month.
