By 2030, chip production market to reach $1 trillion - Forecast

May 25, Fineko/abc.az. The chip crisis between the U.S. and China is expanding.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that in the context of the ongoing crisis amid artificial hostility between the two countries and withdrawal of Micron (the largest memory company in the U.S.) from the Chinese market by China, further aggravated the issue under consideration.

Last year, trillions of chips were produced, despite the crisis with chips in relations between countries.

Thus, the total global cost of chip production has approached $580 bn. According to the forecast, by 2030 this market will reach $1 trillion.

As the chip market is growing , this market is still dominated by different policies between the two countries. It started from U.S. President Donald Trump's trade war against China in 2018.
