May 26, Fineko/abc.az. Investments in fixed assets of the Eastern Zangezur Economic Region amounted to AZN 664.9 million (18.8% of all investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan), including AZN 657.37 million were investments in construction and installation works.

ABC.AZ reports that growth of these indicators against Jan-Mar 2022 amounted to 3.3-fold and 3.2-fold, respectively.

The main part of capital investments was made in Kalbajar district – AZN 236.167 (35.5% of fixed capital investments made in Eastern Zangezur). Then follow: Lachin district – AZN 204.35 million and Jabrayil district – AZN 108.78 million.

Capital investments in fixed assets in Azerbaijan for Jan-Mar 2023 amounted to AZN 3.538 bn (40.9% more than in the 1st quarter of 2022).

Total investments in fixed assets in the development of the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions of Azerbaijan in 2022 amounted to AZN 4.18 bn (about $2.4 bn at the current exchange rate), which is 1.8-fold higher than in 2021.
