June 7, Fineko/abc.az. "27% of Agdam district and 21% of Fuzuli district have been cleared of mines," ABC.AZ reports, quoting Emin Huseynov, president’s special representative for occupation-liberated territories, which are part of the Karabakh Economic Region.

He added that in parallel with the mine clearance work in both areas, rapid restoration and construction work is underway:

"By the end of 2026, it is planned to resettle 20,000 former IDPs in Agdam. Ensuring the employment of people subject to resettlement is one of the priorities."

Huseynov pointed out that construction will be launched in both Hadrut and Tugh this year. He also spoke about the upcoming work in Sugovushan.

President’s special representative stressed that there are many private companies that invest in the territories liberated from occupation, and the state provides these companies with tax and customs privileges.
