Demand at currency auction fell by 82.6%

June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has held a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, at the currency auction on June 8, the demand of banks amounted to $1.5 million and was fully secured. The indicator is $7.1 million or 82.6% less than at the previous auction.

As a result of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.

At a foreign exchange auction on June 6, the Central Bank sold $8.6 million to banks.
