June 8, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye's main tea producer Çaykur has raised the price of dry tea.

ABC.AZ reports that Çaykur, which raised prices by an average of 43%, sent out a new price list to wholesale companies.

The two most used brands of Çaykur tea - Tiryaki and Rize Turist - are very popular.

While in the old price list prepared in January 2023, the recommended retail price for 1 kg of Rize Turist tea was 97.81 TL, in the new list sent to companies today the price for the same tea is listed as 141.54 TL. Thus, Rize Turist tea has risen in price by 44.7%.

While in the old list the recommended retail price for 1 kg of Tiryaki tea was 95.95 TL, the price for the same tea in the new list rose to 138.38 TL. Thus, the price of Tiryaki brand tea increased by 44.2%.
