Number of active commercial organizations increased by 14%

June 8, Fineko/abc.az. As of June 1, 2023, 167,600 commercial organizations were registered in Azerbaijan, including 105,400 active commercial organizations, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service (under the Ministry of Economy).

The indicators are by 10.4% and 14%, respectively, more than on June 1, 2022.

As of June 1, 2023, 90.3% of commercial legal entities are limited liability companies (LLCs), 1.3% are joint stock companies (JSCs), and 1.1% are cooperatives.

At that, 32,490 organizations are active VAT-payers (15.3% more versus Jan-May 2022).
