June 9, Fineko/abc.az. The ombudsman will be insured without fail in the amount of a 5-year official salary.

ABC.AZ reports that the issue of this is reflected in the Draft Amendments to the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan, submitted for discussion at Milli Majlis.

With the change, a new paragraph (16.6-1) is added to the law. According to the new clause, the client will be insured without fail in the amount of a 5-year official salary.

The monthly salary of the ombudsman is 3,060 manats. The amendment to the law was put to the vote and approved in the 2nd reading.
